TTT has changed my perception of English as a subject. English is a subject that the majority of students would believe that you do not need to study for, I used to be one of those students. However, I would often struggle in planning my essays and answering comprehension questions. That was until Mr Russell took over my English class during Secondary Two. He introduced many strategies and techniques to tackle the English papers which eased the trouble of not being able to answer the different papers. The techniques really helped me to improve, which was reflected in my results. Seeing the significant improvement I have made with the help of Mr Russell, I decided to join TTT to give myself an edge over my cohort mates for O Levels.
At TTT, the lessons there are not your typical mundane English lessons at school. The lessons at TTT are the ones that are the most fun yet fruitful as Mr Russell would occasionally make jokes to lighten up the mood or include interesting pictures in the notes.
He would also often link some topics that are discussed during lessons to current affairs which I find really engaging. Furthermore, the notes and materials provided by TTT are so much more resourceful than school notes and it helps me to recap formats and techniques while studying for examinations.
Last but not least, Mr Russell is a superb teacher who has a burning passion for teaching. He would ensure that his notes are flawless and informative. Outside of the centre, Mr Russell is a teacher who is also very nice and friendly. Thanks to TTT, I managed to get an A2 for my O Levels.
