When I started secondary school, I joined TTT, and learning at TTT has helped me to improve my English. One of the things that I learnt in class is how to write discursive essays. Since I was in primary school, I have not been very good at essay writing, and I often struggled to write a decent essay. However, at TTT, I like how Mr. Russell has provided a simple step-by-step approach to teach us the various skills and techniques to write an essay. In a recent class, he also taught us how to upgrade our essay, by introducing content and later even context in our essay. Through regular practice, I learnt how to master the skills, and to write a decent piece of essay.
Similarly in terms of comprehension, I find that Mr. Russell provides very good structures to help students to easily remember the skills required for comprehension, and also to take note of things that could cause students to lose marks for their comprehension.
I like the regular drill practises as well as annotation classes. They both provide me with constant opportunities to practise the skills I have learnt which will surely help to improve my English grade. His concise notes and good teaching has also enabled me to remember things easily, and this is great for students.
