Before joining TTT, I lacked self-confidence and was always petrified of either failing English or just getting a border line pass. I was demoralised and I hated it and it even gave me a phobia of starting a new set of paper 1 and 2. Knowing that this was an issue, I tried to look for my English teachers in school, but they were often very busy, and they could not provide much help.
However, after joining TTT, things changed. TTT gave amazing and detailed notes for each section and gave challenging practices to try out. From these practices, I had a better understanding and awareness of what was going on. I realised that I had more confidence in myself and I wasn’t afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone to do my best for the different drill practices, prelim papers and O Level papers. I eventually secured a B3 for my O Levels which I was overjoyed with given that I had been struggling to pass previously.
Mr Russell has truly been very helpful on my O Level journey. He often provided extra help whenever needed. He also taught us skills beyond tuition, such as important strategy tips and values in our life. The centre is also a nice place to study, and I have made many friends through some of the group tasks that we were tasked to do. I am beyond thankful to have had the opportunity to attend his English tuition!
