Before joining TTT, I didn’t really know how to study English as it seemed to be a subject that cannot be studied. Ever since I joined TTT, my mindset towards English has changed completely. Seeing how passionate Mr Russell is to teach and how far he is willing to go for the students has made me more motivated to study for English.
Personally, I found the comprehension drills to be particularly helpful in helping me improve my Paper 2 marks. They allowed me to fully understand the techniques and skills needed to be able to effectively tackle comprehension. The notes at TTT are also very detailed and well organised, making it very easy to follow in class and therefore encouraging me to study English! I can guarantee that no other centre’s teachers put in as much effort as Mr Russell! Also, he is easily approachable and that has encouraged me to ask questions more frequently when in doubt. My favourite parts of the lessons would be that he finds ways to make sure the lesson is not very dreadful through jokes and personal recounts which made the lessons much more enjoyable!
