My journey in TTT was really beneficial to me and every lesson with the other students and the teacher was amazing. TTT has taught me a lot ever since I first joined in March 2020. The teachers have been very supportive and they are my main source of support for EL.
Before joining TTT, I often obtained C6 for English. What I did not know was that there were different answering techniques to comprehension questions, and learning these skills from the teachers really helped me a lot. Most of the other learning centres often just get their students to do papers after papers and then go through the answers with them, which may not be very helpful for the students’ learning. TTT offers various in-depth notes for every skill and technique which they are teaching. They also ensure that we have fully understood the answering techniques, and it helps us become more prepared for our O Levels.
TTT was the only learning centre which to me made learning fun. Compared to other learning centres, TTT is the place where I would not mind staying and coming for extra classes. It was the teachers who inspired me to love this subject and enjoy doing English papers.
They teach with a lot of passion which motivated me to do better. During the home-based learning period, my teacher even conducted a free mock exam for us when we received news from MOE that schools would cancel mid-year exams. This was really beneficial to us, and I often feel that I had more support from TTT than from any centres or even from school. I believe that I was able to jump to a B3 for my O Levels from a C6 in just 5 months only due to the extensive support I received.
