I would have to admit that before I joined TTT, I felt that English is just a subject that one could never be good at. I felt that there was no format for answering comprehension questions and doing well in this subject was basically a matter of luck or some innate ability. All these thoughts dissipated when I joined TTT. At TTT, I learnt a plethora of useful English skills that my school did not teach. These skills proved to be useful in dealing with a variety of English questions and I became more confident. This helped me to achieve a 2 grade jump in just 7 months.
1 believe that TTT is not an ordinary tuition centre. TTT teachers make use of a step by step teaching structure that is easy to follow. They also provide many detailed and useful notes on how to tackle different aspects of the paper. Furthermore, they have tried to create a homely and warm experience for students, by encouraging students to study at the centre, and also to take breaks by playing some board games and lightsabers during the holidays. They also provide free consultations for weaker students who need extra help.
These facilities and the amazing support system provided is something that is not seen elsewhere, both in school and also at other centres. Hence I truly believe in TTT’s motto: more than a centre, better than a school.
The teachings offered in TTT have shaped me into a more understanding, adaptable, proactive student. This has also impacted my life in a meaningful way. I have learnt that nothing is impossible as long as you put your mind and soul into it. I truly have to thank my teachers at TTT for helping me to see how I can analyse situations and problems better, and how to prepare effectively for the English Language Paper.
