When I joined TTT at the start of 2021, Mr Russell and the teachers there made me feel like I belonged and welcomed me with open hands. Mr Russell always started the lessons on time and with full enthusiasm. Given that he had lessons throughout the whole day, the fact that he could still cover the agenda for the lesson shows how organised and capable he is in teaching his students.
I am truly very thankful for all the time he has spent guiding us. The way Mr Russell taught gave us a chance to really improve our knowledge of the English Language and I am proud to say that we could definitely see the improvement in our grades. His concise notes, growth mindset and desire to get all of us to score really well had motivated all of us to have open minds and to put in our utmost efforts in all the work he assigned us. He made sure we were attentive in his lessons whilst he explained the learning outcome. He gave us sufficient time to complete tasks that were designed for us for each lesson. The great thing about the materials given to his students is how the notes guide us in answering any question type. We would receive homework in his lessons and the notes that came together with it would assist us in answering the question and ensure that we deepen our understanding on the various question types that come along with different topics in the English Language.
As a teacher, Mr Russell has portrayed diligence and passion. I believe he has nurtured me well and I have grown to be someone who has developed a greater understanding of the English Language. I still have much to learn from him and I look forward to future sessions at The Thought Tailor.
