Before joining TTT, I was really struggling with my English, especially for my comprehension. I did not have much understanding of ways to answer the questions in comprehension passages, it always seemed like it is based on luck on whether i have chosen the right word to rephrase it to. TTT was recommended by my senior and I decided to give it a shot as I had no idea how to study English. However, since TTT provides notes that are very comprehensive and therefore easier to understand, studying for my English exams was made much easier.
During lessons, Mr Russell would always explain the questions based on the skill set required and the steps to answering them. He cracks jokes in-between, making the lessons more enjoyable and engaging. I always looked forward to going for tuition even though it is 2 hours long as time passes really quickly. Since the lessons are so engaging, I would always like to stay and learn more. However, even though I have to leave, Mr Russell would always be there 24/7 to answer any queries | have. Mr Russell goes through different worksheets at an incredible speed but it is always easy to understand what he is saying. In particular, his drill worksheets were really a gem to me. It helped me tremendously in remembering the steps and formats to the question types. Though I have a very bad memory, after going through the drill worksheets, the steps and skills became engraved into my brain.
Before attending TTT, English was a subject I dreaded, yet, Mr Russell’s tuition made English a pleasant subject to study. TTT helped me with not only my English skills, but also skills I needed to be a better student such as being a strategic and organised student, which led to an improvement in not only my English subject, but also my other subjects.
