Mr. Russell was my former teacher at Juying Secondary. He taught me in the first half of 2019, and I really enjoyed his lesson. He is a very fun and funny teacher and I felt that his lessons were really interesting and that helped me to feel more motivated in terms of studying for English. However, he decided to resign in June 2019, and in 2020, I decided to join his centre so as to prepare for my N level.
I used to take English tuition elsewhere, but the lessons there were really dull and the lessons tend to revolve around doing many practices. At TTT however, I really enjoyed the lessons. The lessons are very fun and engaging and Mr. Russell often tells jokes in class to keep the class entertained. Mr. Russell also gave very detailed notes that were simple and easy to understand. The comprehension notes also provided a step by step approach to answering questions. I learnt alot from the lessons and really understood the topics and strategies during tuition. This was something that was not taught in school.
Mr Russell is extremely approachable. If somebody does not understand anything, he would ask the student to stay back to see him for extra consultation and he would be quick to clear up any misconceptions. Overall I really enjoy his lessons and I like how he manages to conduct lessons that are both fun yet impactful.
I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Russell for helping me improve my English grade. Thanks to his lessons, I was able to get a good grade for my English prelims as well as a Grade 2 for my N level. This was the best ever result that I have achieved for English! Thank you Mr Russell and TTT!
