Before I joined TTT, I could barely pass my English exams, often getting a measly 20/50 for my comprehension paper, as well as an overall grade of C6 for English. I was with another tuition centre, but I found that I was not making progress. But after joining TTT, I saw quick improvement in my English grades. | eventually scored a B3 for my O Levels.
Unlike other centres, TTT is very unique because the teachers are very dedicated and they often provide a lot of after-class support to help the students do better. The lessons also covered every single component of the English paper, as well as the skills needed for each part of the paper. I think one of the most beneficial things for me was to learn the comprehension question types and also the process in answering all the different question types. This was something that I did not learn in school, and it really helped me to improve my comprehension. In under a year, I found myself doing better and getting a good pass for my comprehension tests.
Mr Russell is a wonderful teacher who is very fun, approachable and an absolute inspiration! He tells a lot of jokes in class, and his lessons are always very entertaining yet impactful.
I loved attending TTT lessons and it was one of the things that I looked forward to each week. I would really like to thank Mr. Russell for his effort, especially during the intensive classes, when he took extra time to mark all our work and to point out our individual mistakes. This helped me to realise what are some of my weaknesses, and also to work towards eliminating them. My school teacher even commented that I made significant improvement in essay writing!
TTT is definitely the best English tuition centre in Singapore. The fees are very affordable, and the support given by the teachers is unbelievable. My biggest regret is not joining the centre earlier.
