There are many things I like about The Thought Tailor centre. To start, I like that lessons are extremely interesting and fun. The teacher, Mr Russell, likes to lighten the mood for studies and would always have an encouraging tone during lessons. As a teacher, he easily makes students enjoy his lesson and also answer many open questions from students. He would often joke around but when it comes to studies, he would be serious and would always try to find ways to make his students understand.
My favourite lessons were those where he went through comprehension and taught us techniques to tackle it. He made it much easier for me to understand the question requirements of the component as well as helped me achieve significant improvements.
After Mr Russell’s lessons, I found that comprehension was where I could try to score the most marks as I now understood how to confront each question type. My favourite set of materials in The Thought Tailor would be the inferential drills. This is because it is a worksheet where I can try to answer and if I get it wrong, I can learn from my mistakes. Other than that, it would be the notes as when I would get confused, I can infer from the notes. I had a lot of fun learning at TTT, and thanks to TTT, I managed to obtain an A2 grade in my recent exams!
