Mr Russell is an extremely patient teacher and he is one who continually spurs his students on to push harder in order to reach their fullest potential. He is also very passionate about teaching and I have gained much insights in his lessons alongside learning my English syllabus. He had helped me improve on my oratorical skills by providing multiple oral sessions before the exams, catering to the different needs of his students.
In addition, his comprehension notes had played a great part in the improvement of my English grade. Because of his lessons, I was able to easily identify each and every comprehension question type and that had made understanding texts easier. I have also learnt how to tackle one of the trickiest and hardest comprehension questions and also how to present my answers accurately to secure maximum marks. On top of that, Mr. Russell and his assistants are really helpful as they come up to you personally to explain your mistakes and guide you through the corrections.
In the 2021 O Levels, I managed to get an A2 for my English paper. I want to thank Mr Russell, for his utmost patience and guidance. My 2 years of learning have been enjoyable and fruitful.
