Before joining TTT, I have always perceived English as a subject one “can’t really study for”. However, after joining TTT, I realised that I was completely wrong! In the past year at the centre, I learnt the various techniques needed to excel in the different components such as comprehension, summary and essays which many students struggle in.
For paper 1, I learnt the various writing strategies as well as the steps that I can take to improve my score – both in terms of language as well as content/creativity. In addition, for paper 2, I learnt important skills, step-by-step instructions as well as how I can best present the answer. These were one of many tips that helped to improve my score. Thanks to the help given by Mr Russell and the concise notes created by him, I was able to see visible improvements in my English results.
Mr Russell is a very approachable and helpful tutor. He never fails to clear all of my doubts and all of my queries that I have efficiently and clearly. His in-depth lessons are not only enjoyable and engaging, but also informative due to the excellent notes given to us.
