The source analysis practices were so helpful! The sample answers showed me exactly how to structure my arguments and support them with evidence.
Xin Yee
I like the fact that the classes here are very well-structured, with something to learn and master in every lesson. This was not something that is common, as most of the time, the lessons in school just consist of practices and more practices.
Vijay
The revision materials are incredible! It is way better than what my school offers. The summary sheets and mindmap helped me connect to see the bigger picture.
Yi Xin
The notes are so detailed and well-organised, covering all the key issues and topics in social studies. They made my revision so much easier and effective

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why do I need Social Studies tuition?
You may not need Social Studies tuition if you can dedicate countless hours daily to mastering the intricacies of the subject. If you can independently analyse sources, understand key concepts in societal issues and human interactions; if you can consistently engage with past GCE O-Level papers and grasp the nuances of exam questions; if you already have strong study skills and can refine your arguments without guidance; and if you receive adequate support from your school teachers, then tuition might not be necessary.
However, consider the time and effort required to understand complex social concepts, the need for personalised feedback, and the challenge of staying informed about relevant examples. Now, imagine achieving top marks without these obstacles. This is why many students choose to join The Thought Tailor—your path to success in Social Studies.
Why is Social Studies such a hard subject?
Social Studies is often dismissed as common sense, but the ability to infer and analyse is a skill that can be learned and developed through practice. It involves recognizing patterns and understanding how different sources interact over time. Rather than settling for surface-level explanations, The Thought Tailor provides comprehensive insights into essential social themes and skills, empowering you to construct well-rounded arguments. Embrace the complexities of Social Studies and enhance your understanding with us!
