Furthermore, another thing that I enjoyed about TTT during my time there would be their notes. There are a myriad of notes that TTT has given me which includes their oral notes, vocabulary notes on how to make your essay better, notes that have many examples which enhance your understanding of the world, and many more!

I like the fact that the classes here are very well-structured, with something to learn and master in every lesson. This was not something that is common, as most of the time, the lessons in school just consist of practices and more practices.
Vijay
The revision materials are incredible! It is way better than what my school offers. The summary sheets and mindmap helped me connect to see the bigger picture.

I never thought I’d enjoy studying history, but these lessons really changed my perspective. I’ve gone from barely passing to confidently writing essays that score top marks!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why do I need History tuition?
You may not need History tuition if you can dedicate countless hours to understanding key events and trends independently. If you can analyse sources, develop comparative skills, and master essay writing without guidance; if you consistently review past GCE O-Level papers and can pinpoint the nuances in exam questions; if you possess strong critical thinking skills and can refine your responses with little support; and if you receive adequate help from your school teachers, then tuition may not be necessary.
However, think about the time and effort required to fully grasp complex historical concepts, the need for personalised feedback, and the challenge of synthesising information across topics. Now, imagine achieving top marks without these obstacles. This is why many students choose to join The Thought Tailor—your gateway to success in History.
Why is History such a hard subject?
Simply because there is no fixed content in History essays; it’s like piecing together a vast puzzle of events and perspectives. You can delve into any period or theme, from ancient civilizations to modern-day conflicts. Most importantly, there are no definitive answers in History. You, your school teachers, or other centres may present interpretations with seemingly solid arguments, but I assure you, we can critically assess and deconstruct those views. Instead of relying on simplified narratives, The Thought Tailor provides you with a rich array of historical interpretations and evidence, allowing you to shape your own conclusions. Embrace the complexities of history and elevate your essays to the next level!
